Solomon Islands: Tradacna shell elegant form, nice patina.
Massim: Clam shell or bone, lower example with lovely golden patina from extensive use.
Asmat: A fine otsj, or bone nose stick. The open-work elements are finely carved the main form of the otsj is that of a highly stylized human body. Old Serial no. to reverse.
Papuan Gulf: Thin rounded terminals. Second example with lovely golden patina.
